Festool’s Compound Mitre Saw KSC 60 delivers impressive features and precision in a package that is lightweight, highly portable with power provided by two 18 volt batteries. Ideal for anyone needing to make precise crosscuts and frequently moving around.
Festool KSC 60 Sliding Compound Mitre Saw provides maximum power and runtime
Powered by a pair of 18 volt batteries, the Kapex’s brushless EC-TEC motor provides powerful and efficient power transfer to the blade for all typical applications for an entire day of work. The motor is entirely enclosed, and no maintenance is required over its life.
KSC 60 delivers perfect cuts every time
The sliding motion is guided by two bearings running along two forward-mounted columns which provides smooth action for precise cuts. The central handle ensures all forces to move the power head are in-line with the blade, and the controls are user-friendly for left- and right-handed users.
The included Angle Transfer Device gauges and bisects inside or outside corners. To set the saw to the angle, simply position the Angle Transfer Device against the Kapex’s fence and align the miter saw lasers with the dashed line on the Angle Transfer Device. When not needed, it stores neatly on the back of the saw.
The KSC 60 is hugely versatile
The sliding compound mitre saw boasts impressive mitre and bevel specs (60 degree left and right mitre; 46 and 47 degree left and right bevel) and the LED lights simultaneously illuminate the cut area while casting the blade’s shadow for simple and accurate alignment with the cut line.
The rotation speed of the motor can be adjusted with a stepless variable speed dial so you can match the blade speed to the material, making the saw equally capable of cutting wood, plastics, solid surface, and non-ferrous metals. Four different blades are available, each optimized for a specific type of materials.
Festool Compound Mitre Saw KSC 60 is compact and portable
For dust collection wherever you need, the chip collection bag is up to the task when a dust extractor isn’t available. The rail forward design takes up very little less space and packs down into an even more compact and easy-to-carry package.
Just because it’s compact doesn’t mean that supporting long stock is difficult. Two built-in extensions provide additional support, and the accessory elevation feet raise the saw up to the height of a Systainer. The optional wheeled cart brings the saw up to a comfortable height to use the saw standing, and the extension wings provide ample support for long stock on either side of the saw.
Arbor lock of KSC 60 allows fast and safe blade changes
Once the arbor is locked, just a hex key is required to remove and replace the saw blade. When not needed, the key stores on-board in the key storage box so it’s always available when needed.
