Woodpeckers ‘OneTime Tool’ Precision T-Square Special Edition Woodpeckers

Striking lines parallel with the edge of your stock couldn’t be easier, once you have a Woodpeckers Precision T-Square in your shop. And now, as part of our OneTIME Tool program, you can own a special edition, hard-coat anodized version of any of our Precision T-Squares. The special edition features a different anodization process than our standard red T-Squares. Hard-coat anodizing yields exceptional surface hardness, similar to the best tool steels. That tough exterior surface reduces friction and resists UV fading.

We offer four versions of the Special Edition Precision T-square: 12″, 24″, 600mm and 32″. The 12″ size is ideal for work with solid lumber and smaller cabinet parts. The 24″, 600mm and 32″ are better suited for work with sheet goods, larger cabinet parts, entertainment centers and bookcases

Just like our standard Precision T-Squares, the beams of the Special Editions have a lip that rests on the top surface of your stock, preventing them from rolling. Precision- machined scribing guides are spaced every sixteenth-inch down the length of the blades. Just drop the point of a mechanical pencil in the dimension you want and scribe a line perfectly parallel to the edge of your stock. In addition to the scribing guides, there are 1/4 ” diameter holes on 1″ centers, ideal for laying out shelf pins. The 600mm SE has scribing guides on 1mm centers and shelf pin holes on 32mm centers

Each Woodpeckers Precision T-Square consists of a laser engraved aluminum blade matched to a precision machined beam. The two critical components are secured together with 6 stainless steel screws (4 screws on the 12″ version). A slight offset between the holes in the blade and the threads in the beam puts the two under constant tension. This design delivers an angular precision of ±.02° (.004″ per foot). It delivers top notch performance yet allows recalibration or repair should the T-Square ever sustain damage.

The edges of the blade have a 30° bevel, putting the scale markings right down next to your material, greatly reducing parallax viewing error. The inch or metric scales are laser engraved to a tolerance of .004″ total accumulated error. Each T-Square is delivered with a wall-mountable Rack-It to keep your Special Edition Precision T-Square right in plain sight and ready for work.  

Like all OneTIME Tools, the Special Edition Precision T-Squares are only built to order, precisely machined and carefully inspected in our Strongsville, Ohio, facility just south of Cleveland.
